Definition of Tandy, Jessica
(1909–94), US actress; born in England. She made many stage appearances, some with her husband Hume Cronyn, including The Gin Game (1978). Her movies include Cocoon (1985), Driving Miss Daisy (1989), and Fried Green Tomatoes (1991).
