  • Vanessa (1937-), Sir Michael’s eldest child. Her movies include Mary Queen of Scots (1972), Julia (1976), and Howard’s End (1992). Other actors in the family include her siblings Corin (1939–2010) and Lynn (1943–2010), best known for her title role in Georgy Girl (1966), Corin’s daughter Jemma (1965-), and Vanessa’s daughters Joely Richardson (1958-) and Natasha Richardson (1963–2009).
