Definition of Matthau, Walter
(1920–2000), US actor. He starred in The Odd Couple, both on Broadway (1965) and in the movie (1968). Among his other movies were The Fortune Cookie (1966), The Sunshine Boys (1975), Grumpy Old Men (1993), and Hanging Up (2000).
