  • (1895–1979), US choreographer and ballet dancer, born in Russia; full name Léonide Fédorovitch Massine; born Leonid Fyodorovich Myasin. He was the originator of the symphonic ballet, and danced in and choreographed the movie The Red Shoes (1948).
