- a mountain in the Rwenzori range in central Africa, on the border between the Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaire) and Uganda. Its highest peak, Margherita Peak, which rises to 5,110 m (16,765 ft), is the third-highest peak in Africa. African name Ngaliema, Mount.
