Definition of Speer, Albert
(1905–81), German architect and Nazi government official, designer of the Nuremberg stadium for the 1934 Nazi Party congress. He was also Minister for Armaments and Munitions. Following the Nuremberg trials, he served twenty years in Spandau prison.
