Definition of Smith, Stevie
(1902–71), English poet and novelist; pseudonym of Florence Margaret Smith. She is mainly remembered for her witty, caustic, and enigmatic verse; collections include A Good Time was Had By All (1937) and Not Waving But Drowning (1957).
