Definition of Lepidus, Marcus Aemilius
(died circa 13 bc), Roman statesman and triumvir. A supporter of Julius Caesar in the civil war against Pompey, he was elected consul in 46, and appointed one of the Second Triumvirate with Octavian and Antony in 43.
