Definition of Kieslowski, Krzysztof
(1941–96), Polish film director. Noted for their mannered style and their artistic, philosophical nature, his films include the series Dekalog (1988), each film being a visual interpretation of one of the Ten Commandments, and the trilogy Three Colours (1993-4).
