Definition of Johnson, Earvin
(b.1959), American basketball player; known as Magic Johnson. He played for the Los Angeles Lakers from 1979 to 1991. After being diagnosed HIV-positive he won an Olympic gold medal in 1992 and then returned to the Lakers.
