Definition of Eysenck, Hans
(1916–97), German-born British psychologist; full name Hans Jürgen Eysenck. He was noted for his strong criticism of Freudian psychoanalysis and for his ideas concerning the assessment of intelligence and personality (published in Race, Intelligence, and Education, 1971).
