Definition of Bonnard, Pierre
(1867–1947), French painter and graphic artist, a member of the Nabi Group. Notable for their rich, glowing colours, his works continue and develop the Impressionist tradition; they mostly depict domestic interior scenes, nudes, and landscapes.
