  • (1931-), US writer; full name Thomas Kennerley Wolfe, Jr. Having been a news reporter for the Washington Post 1959–62 and the Herald Tribune 1962–66, he examined contemporary culture in the US in The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test (1968), The Bonfire of the Vanities (1988), and A Man in Full (1998).
