Definition of Wilson, Edmund
(1895–1972), US critic, essayist, and short-story writer. He is remembered chiefly for works of literary and social criticism. He was a friend of F. Scott Fitzgerald and edited the latter’s unfinished novel The Last Tycoon (1941).
