Definition of Skelton, Red
(1913–97), US comedian; born Richard Bernard Skelton. A stage, circus, and movie performer, he starred in the television series The Red Skelton Show (1951–71) and brought to life characters such as Clem Kadiddlehopper, Freddie the Freeloader, and Mean Widdle Kid.
