Definition of Richardson, Sir Ralph
(1902–83), English actor; full name Sir Ralph David Richardson. He played many Shakespearean roles as well as leading parts in plays, including Harold Pinter’s No Man’s Land (1975), and movies, including Oh! What a Lovely War (1969).
