Definition of Miller, Henry
(1891–1980), US novelist; full name Henry Valentine Miller. His autobiographical novels Tropic of Cancer (1934) and Tropic of Capricorn (1939) were banned in the US until the 1960s because of frank depictions of sex and the use of obscenities.
