Definition of Berra, Yogi
(1925-), US baseball player and manager; born Lawrence Peter Berra. A New York Yankee (1946–63) for all but one season of his playing career, he set the record for most home runs (313) by a catcher in the American League. Baseball Hall of Fame (1972).
