Definition of Bernstein, Carl
(1944-), US journalist. He was the Washington Post reporter who, with Bob Woodward, broke the story of the 1972 Watergate burglary and traced the financial payoffs to President Nixon. With Woodward, he wrote All The President’s Men (1974) and The Final Days (1976).
