Definition of Berle, Milton
(1908–2002), US comedian and actor; born Milton Berlinger. He began as a vaudeville entertainer and went on to star on radio, stage, movies, and, in particular, on television with the Texaco Star Theater from 1948 until 1956 (renamed The Milton Berle Show in 1955).
