  • (1930-), US football coach and player; full name Donald Francis Shula. After seven seasons of playing professional football, he coached the Baltimore Colts 1963–69 and then the Miami Dolphins 1970–95. Upon his retirement in 1995, he had achieved a record 347 regular season and playoff games won. Football Hall of Fame (1997).
